Give me the sky
Oh, to be up above instead of down below
And have the clouds bring a fog to block the pain
And let the rain renew what we couldn't
Bring lightning down to show there is still light within darkness, even if just for a moment
And pull the moon closer to make the night less lonely
We cannot mourn the death of every star
But we can remember with the light that travels after they are gone
The fog will fade
The sun will rise
And we will too
The reasons will be revealed after the midnight storm passes through
Try not to fight the rain, even when it pours
And be like the sky:
Always changing, yet always beautiful
